Highland Black Soap
Rose Cottage Croft is on the doorstep of The Flow Country which is the most intact and extensive blanket bog system in the world! Stretching across Caithness and Sutherland in the far north of Scotland this vast expanse of blanket bog comprises a complex set of interlinked pool systems and micro features that not only host an eye-catching flora and fauna but also play a vital role in our defence against the effects of climate change.
It is the wild rugged nature of this land that inspired our Highland Black Soap, the aim was to create a range of soaps that feel like they come from the natural earth.
Highland Black Soap is based on the centuries old African Black Soap, which is a very traditional soap made from natural ingredients. Like it’s African recipe foundations, Highland Black Soap is made with raw shea butter and coconut oil, rich in minerals and antioxidants.

The classic blend of sweet orange and clary sage essential oils are known to have several benefits to the mind and skin. Sweet orange essential oil helps cleanse and brighten the skin; its aroma being uplifting and stress reducing. Clary sage essential oil is known to be calming and soothing.
